The International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) has developed and implemented a program of professional designations intended to heighten the professional expertise of assessment personnel through additional education. Some objectives of these programs include; raising the standards of the profession and gaining recognition as qualified, objective, unbiased appraisers for ad-valorem tax purposes. The Williamson Central Appraisal District is proud to announce that its Chief Appraiser, Alvin Lankford, has earned an IAAO designation of Certified Assessment Evaluator.
